1986 Sindy Fashion Doubles

I got this beautiful fashion from my fellow Sindy collector friend Tracey. I seem to recall having this but the late 86 range is a bit fuzzy to me as the Jem line hit in late 86 and I lost interest for a while :)

1986 Mode fashions

another 2 Mode fashions that I got nice and cheap in May

1986 Colour Magic

This is the 2nd version of Colour Magic Sindy that I got. She came in the box and is quite minty, she just has a tad of blue in her hair. I adore this outfit.

1986 Bunches Sindy (Miss Sindy?)

I won this little cutie pie mainly for the Disco Magic skirt that came with her. An actual doll with bunches (aside from Jazzdance) was never released officially! After a bit of digging me and a few fellow Sindy fans came to the conclusion that she will have been a Miss Sindy released in late 86 using factory stock. It makes you wonder what they where planning before her face was changed yet again for the Hasbro 87 girls.

1986 Miss Sindy Outfit

A cute little summer dress with matching bag

1986 Miss Sindy Underwear

A rather cute set, I'm not into underwear as a rule but it's baby blue and has the 86 style of miore skimpy knickers which amuses me

1986 Miss Sindy Box Art

6 Beautiful new fashions. I so far have the 3 on the right. Slighlty more cheaply made than previous years I also note.

1986 Boutique Box Art

The beautiful 86 Boutique Box Art, this just shows the new fashions released that year and none of the 85 veriosns that where re-released. I have yet to see or own any of these fashions, I love the top 3!

1985 Premiere Night Out

Here is a fun picture of my 2 Premiere Girls off for another night out. I re-curled the girl on the right as her hair had lost all it's curl

1986 Starlight Sindy

Here is my beautiful new Starlight Sindy. Starlight was released in 1985 with the traditional face and then again in 1986 with a slightly different style jumpsuit! I think she is so cute! The shiny material didn't show up well on the camera?

On the box she has a side pony tail with crimped hair much like the 1985 versions, however the finished doll just had loose curls with no ponytail (I put my girls in a ponytail)

Back of the box

Back of the box close up
The Starlights together, you can see how dramatically they changed Sindy in 1986.

1987 - City Girl

City Girl Sindy was one of the last Sindy's I remember getting. Me and my sister got one each on the same day. There are 2 versions of this doll the other being dressed in pink & purple which my sister has. I like these Hasbro Sindy's but they where to only last 2 years before she changed again and looked far to much like a cheap Barbie!

1986 Boutique - Spots 'N' Stripes

Another 85 fashion that was re-used in 86. This is the 86 version mint from the card. Its quite a cool fashion but not one I had as a kid. I thought of Marie as soon as I got it last year but never got around to putting it on her. This curly haired Marie is Royal Wedding Marie

1984 Boutique - Jog Along

Another 84 Boutique outfit which we had as kids. It's quite awful really but I got it summer 2009 mint on the card at a great price. It suits this little lady too!

1986 Boutique - Beach Life

This was one of the last Sindy fashions I remember getting as a kid. I have wanted it for ages and when it showed up on on e-bay at a BIN at £15 I snapped it up. This is the 1986 version and is mint from the card.
This outfit always reminds me of The Sound of Music!

1984 & 1985 Style Books

Click the picture above to link to Johnny's great pictures of the 1984 & 85 Style books. They are simply stunning. Visit his full site on the links to the right! I could spend hours on his site!

1986 Style Book

Check out the 1986 Style Book on Johnny's amazing site, he also has other style books from other years which are great for identification. I use them all the time. Just click the Style Book cover to link to his site.

1986 Zodiac Toys Displays

Prior to the new release of dolls, you can make out Barbie to the right and Jem and Golden Girl on the left both of which I had as a kid. *Dreams of getting a time machine*

And the shelves updated with the new 86 girls Jazzdance and Mark .

By this period Toy N Hobby was the big store in my home town so there was a lot more 86 dolls to chose from. I remember that Saturday very well visiting Toy N Hobby to see the new face Sindy. Me and my sister nearly died of heart failure!

Click here for more Zodiac Toys information and pictures of other 80's toys!

1986 Miss Sindy Fashion

Here's Jazzdance Sindy in her new fashion from the 1986 Miss Sindy range. It's pretty cute but no where near the quality of the earlier 80's ranges. The peeptoe shoes are also very cute but don't fit too well as you can see. I never had many (if any) of the '86 clothes so this is a nice welcome and at £6.62 mint on the card you can't grumble. I will scan the packet in when the main PC is repaired.

1981 Seperates

I have been meaning to take a picture of these for a while, they are very cute and not something I had back in the day but they where very cheap so I couldn't pass them up.

1984 Boutique - Highland Fling

Another memorable 84 outfit we had back in our childhood. I have had the dress quite a while but it took forever to track down the belt & boots, but big thanks to Jill again. The dress looks awful without the belt so has waited patiently until it arrived.

1982 Skater

The 1982 Skater is a doll I have wanted for a long time. While not the prettiest of my Auburn girls she is just so... Me. I loved my roller boots as a kid, and when I got my walkman in 1984 I would stay permantly stuck to it for the next 25 years, although it's an i-touch now LOL!

1983 - Holiday Girl

This girl was a surprise, a huge surprise. The seller whom I got all the last lot of dolls from sent me this as a surprise due to a few setbacks. I knew a surprise was in the box but I just suspected an outfit or something. At the bottom of the box was Holiday Girl BOXED! Wow, she is not a doll I would have bought but now I have her... She only seems to have lost her sunglasses but is so cute with a small head which is hard but not as hard as some hard heads.

I was only saying last week to another Sindy fan that I should get a short haired Sindy, then here she is!

1986- Funtime (With a Twist)

Most of the dolls I have posted today are all from the same seller who I met on e-bay. I have been saving for a while to get all these dolls including this little lady.
He coloured her hair red and is a beautiful red too. She looks so original and I love Red Headed Sindy!

1986 Ballerina

I loved this Ballerina as a kid, however I think she was Pamela's originally.
This Sindy is just so cheeky, I got her boxed at a great price and I love her, one of my favourites from this year! 2 Outfits was just genius with this girl to make her more 1986!

As I was changing her into her Ballerina outfit I noticed what she was smirking at, her leotard is rather low and revealing! Cheeky scamp!

A Little more dignified in her ballerina outfit which was used on the 1985 Blonde ballerina too. Those little arm things are a devil to come by these days.

1986 Magic Moments Sindy

1986 Magic Moments was a Sindy I remember very well as a kid. If you put her in warm water her hair changed blue and her swimsuit changed pattern AMAZING huh, I thought so. I remember even the hairdryer worked to change it blue. When I had done it maybe 200 times her hair went a kinda green blue for ever!

It's difficult to find one in this condition as her hair has been unchanged. It has a very light blue tinge in some lights. I LOVE this outfit, it's so cool, I find it very flamenco hence the pose!

1986 Miss Sindy - 43155

A cute and rather cheeky Miss Sindy fashion from the 1986 range.
A baby doll nightie, tanga briefs and the little jacket are very cute topped of with babydoll pink slippers.
Non of the 1986 fashion range ring any bells with me so I don't know if we had any as a kid, my Sister may have got some but I think I was into Jem at the time so may have overlooked them.
